UT Martin Online MBA Ranked Top 10 by US News & World Report

The University of Tennessee at Martin’s online graduate business program has recently been named one of the Top 10 Online Graduate Business Programs by U.S. News & World Report in 2013.

The prestigious designation was determined by evaluating 22 “ranking indicators,” including graduation rate, admissions selectivity, peer reputation, faculty credentials and training, accessible technology and overall cost.

“We are proud of the quality of the students who have graduated from this program (the online master of business administration),” said Dr. Kevin Hammond, coordinator of graduate programs in business. Hammond went on to call the distinction “a well-deserved tribute to our faculty and administration for their foresight in the design, support and implementation of this unique program.”

Meeting 21st Century Demands

Burton went on to explain how the bookstore has met the challenge of online learning. “Many of these students are juggling jobs and families, so it’s critical to make things as easy as possible for them. That’s why we offer  the option of ordering textbooks in-store or online from our bookstore website. Time is in short supply for these students, so we do everything we can to make it super convenient for them.”

National recognition of its online MBA program is one of several acknowledgements UT Martin has earned over the past two years. The University also received a top-20 “Best Buy” ranking by and a special recognition from The Princeton Review in 2012, as well as being named one of the Top-30 Rising Star MBA Programs by in 2011.
