McDaniel College, located in Westminster, Maryland, hosted its De-Stress Fest for students to relax and unwind during finals week.

A hallmark of Barnes & Noble College is the events and experiences it brings to campus — creating a social and academic hub that strengthens the campus community. The closing weeks of the term can be extremely challenging for students, especially with final exams on the horizon and packing up to travel home for the holidays. Barnes & Noble College bookstores helped ease that stress with in-store De-Stress Fest events, where students could take a break from studying to unwind with fun activities, music and giveaways. Attendees were treated to food and refreshments, and participated in meditation and relaxation sessions, visits with therapy dogs and puppies, create-your-own hot chocolate stations, holiday cookie decorating, holiday craft tables, coloring, massages and more. Students walked away feeling refreshed and energized to finish out the semester.
