Barnes & Noble College is proud to announce our new partnership with Mount Mary College. The four-year Catholic women’s college is located on 80 acres in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and enrolls almost 2,000 undergraduate and graduate students.
Barnes & Noble College began operating in the current bookstore location on April 25. Later this year, the bookstore will relocate to a completely renovated space – in time for fall term. The new bookstore will be designed by Barnes & Noble College in conjunction with Milwaukee-based Zimmerman Architectural Studios, Inc. Mount Mary interior design alumna, Lisa Jansen, of Zimmerman; will be involved with the project.
“We plan to create an educational hub, equipped with comfortable seating and wireless access, where students can come together to study, learn from each other, have fun, build community and enjoy good conversations with friends and classmates in an environment that is representative of the outstanding students at Mount Mary,” said Reyes González, vice president for finance and administration and CFO, in the school newspaper. “My goal was to bring the best to Mount Mary. Our students deserve the best.”
Barnes & Noble College operates more than 630 college bookstores across the country and six in the state of Wisconsin, including Mount Mary College.
